ASPECT RATIO BUTTON
Using the ASPECT RATIO button the operator can:
By default, all video inputs are displayed in their native resolution
–
16:9 ratio HD images are displayed in 16:9 format and 4:3 analogue
sources are displayed in 4:3 format.
Pressing the RATIO button, forces the video on the screen (HD 16:9
or analogue 4:3) to be displayed in a particular ratio. On the first
press, the video is forced to be displayed in 16:9 ratio and “16:9”
feedback is displayed for a few seconds; on the second press the
video is forced to be displayed in 4:3 ratio and “4:3” feedback is
displayed for a few seconds; on the third press video is forced to be
displayed in 1:1 ratio and “1:1” feedback is displayed for a few
seconds; and on the fourth press it returns to automatically display
the video in the native ratio for the video source and “AUTO”
feedback is displayed for a few seconds. When forcing the video to
be displayed in a foreign ratio, scaling and possibly a lateral cut out
may be required.
ZOOM BUTTONS
Using the ZOOM buttons the operator can:
Zoom in/out an HD MAIN picture, zoom in/out a frozen MAIN
picture or resize a PIP window. These functions are mutually
exclusive. Following the zoom command, the “ZOOM” feedback
is displayed for few seconds.
4.1.3 On screen Messages
Each time the video source is changed, or the video presentation is changed,
an on-screen character generator will generate on-screen messages at the
bottom of the screen, to indicate the new selection.
The on-screen messages will include:
The video selected for each input selected when the Main Selection buttons
are pressed.
The text displayed for each of the video inputs shall be defined in the Software
Configuration file.
The video selected for each input selected when the Dual Selection buttons
are pressed. The text displayed for each of the video inputs shall be defined in
the Software Configuration file.
“CONTRAST”, when the CONT + and CONT – buttons are pressed.
“FREEZE”, when the FRZ button is pressed.
“SWAP”, when the SWAP button is pressed.
“PIP”, when the PIP button is pressed.
“PBP”, when the PBP buttons is pressed.
“QUAD” when either of the quad buttons are pressed.
“AUTO”, “16:9”, “4:3”, or “1:1” when the RATIO button is pressed.
“ZOOM” when the ZOOM + or ZOOM – buttons are pressed.
