1606 interface with JetScan or JetCount | Connecting Your JetSort

Set JetScan or JetCount Communication Ports

To set port to match JetSort baud rate, stop bits and parity.

1.

Press and hold key 15.

2.

Press key 3 for the SETUP menu.

3.

Press key 5 until PORT 1 STATUS menu is reached.

4.

Press key 3 to bring the arrow prompt to the setting filed.

5.

Press key 13 to select the desired peripheral: JetSort.

6.

Press 5 to move the arrow to the next field.

7.

Repeat steps 5 and 6 to set Baud Rate, Stop Bits and Parity (see table on previous page).

8.

After setting the desired modes, press key 6 to exit OPTIONS menu then key 7 to exit SETUP menu.

9.

Connect Cables.
