Before You Begin
• Disconnect the main power supply and turn off the gas.
• Close and secure all access panels.
• Make sure all components have had time to cool down.
Washing the outside of the heater:
1. Spray the heater down with water only, do not use cleaning solution.
2. Wait at least one hour for the heater to completely dry before reconnecting the power cord to the
electrical supply.
Cleaning internal components:
3. Remove all dust and debris from the burner and orifice using compressed air.
4. Remove all dust and debris from the blower wheel using compressed air.
Guidelines for checking gas pressure
The following explains a typical procedure for checking the gas pressure.
Before You Begin
• Consult the data plate on the heater for the specific pressures to be used in conjunction with this
procedure.
• Obtain two pressure gauges capable of reading up to 35 in. W.C.
• Disconnect the heater from the electrical supply.
