Replacing the humidity sensor
Inspecting the RG-11 Rain Sensor
Regular maintenance is important to ensure continued proper operation of the rain sensor. Perform the
following tasks periodically:
• Clean the unit with a soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners because they may remove paint or
markings, or may corrode the RG-11 enclosure or seals. Do not use any cleaners containing ace-
tone, because they will deteriorate the plastic enclosure.
• Ensure that the unit is mounted securely and cannot be moved relative to the mounting surface. If
the unit is loose, tighten the mounting screws.
• Verify the security of the cable connected to the rain sensor enclosure by a cable gland and tighten if
necessary.
NOTICE
There are no removable components in the sensor such as a fuse.
RG-11 Rain Sensor Replacement
Rain sensor replacement provided without its cable.
1. Unscrew the four (4) screws under the rain sensor.
