Important Safety Instructions 

Please  read  carefully  through  the 

following  information  and  keep 

these instructions, in case you need 

to refer to them later. If you pass the 

product on to someone else, please 

also include these instructions.

•The  appliance  is  designed  for     

private  household  use  and  the  usual 

quantities  occurring  there.  The    

kettle is unsuitable for commercial 

or  household-like  use  in  kitchens 

for employees in shops, offices and 

other commercial areas, in agricultural 

properties, by customers in hotels, 

motels  or  other  residential 

establishments  or  in  bed  and    

breakfast establishments.

•This  appliance  can  be  used  by  

children from the age of 8, as well 

as by persons with limited physical, 

sensory  or mental  abilities  or     

lacking experience and/or knowledge, 

if  they  are  under  supervision  or     

after receiving instruction on safe 

use  of  the  appliance  and  have       

understood the resulting hazards.

•Keep  the  appliance  and  its  cord 

out of reach of children less than 8 

years of age at all times.

•Cleaning  and  user  maintenance 

must not be carried out by children, 

unless  they  are  older  than  8  an 

supervised.

•Children  must  not  play  with  the 

appliance.

•The  base  and  power  cable  must 

not be immersed in water or other 

liquids.  Electrical  shock  hazard! 

Therefore, also do not use the kettle 

in the vicinity of moisture sources, 

e.g. a sink.

•The kettle is filled with water, but 

must  not  be  immersed  in  water 

itself.  Water  must  not  come  into 

contact with the electric parts in the 

bottom section and with the base.

•If the power cable of this appliance 

should be damaged, it must be replaced 

by the manufacturer, its after-sales 

service or customer service in order 

to avoid hazards.

•The appliance must not be connected 

to a time switch, a dimmer switch 

or any other remote control system.

•WARNING: Do not open the lid 

during boiling and pouring. Risk of 

scalding from hot water vapour!

•Pay  attention  to  the  MIN  and 

MAX filling marks:

•If  insufficient  water  is  filled         

(below MIN), the kettle can overheat.

•If too must water is filled (above 

MAX), hot water can spray out of 

the kettle. Burn hazard!

•Exclusively  operate  the  water 

kettle  with  the  supplied  base.        

Otherwise,  there  is  a  risk  of 

short-circuiting and electric shock!
