The valve hole of the pressure weight allows steam to release. Check regularly to ensure that it not blocked.
If the valve hole of the pressure weight is blocked, the hot steam and hot content within the cooker can
cause serious injury.
- When the cooker is not properly cleaned, it can cause a bad smell. Clean the top cover frequently.
- If there are any rice or alien substances on the oven packing or inside the inner pot, It can cause the
steam to leak. Therefore the rice may be under-cooked and crumbly.

Do not use the cleaning pin for any other use except to clean the valve hole of the pressure weight.

How to
disassemble the
pressure weight
▶
Under the Lock/Unlock handle is locked(located on “

”) turn the pressure weight counter-
clockwise while pulling it up, and pull it out.
▶
Puncture the clogged valve hole with the cleaning pin and reassemble it by turning it clockwise.
▶
When the pressure weight is properly assembled, it can freely be turned.

CLEAN STEAM VENT MAIN UNIT INNER BODY
LID MAIN SEAL
Wipe any alien substance on the bottom
and the outer of the inner pot. Do not use
tough scrubber, metallic scrubber, brush,
abrasive material etc. Use washing-up
liquid and a sponge or soft cloth. Wipe the top cover with a wet cloth that
has been squeezed out of all the water.
Be careful cleaning edge of top heater. Check if there is any rice or alien
substance on the oven packing
Make sure you clean the clean steam
vent before and after use. When cleaning
it, clean softly and do not pull out it by
force. Make sure the assembly condition of
the clean steam vent before and after use.
If the clean steam vent is not assembled
perfectly or come out, please call a dealer
or service center. Wipe the main unit with a cloth that has
been squeezed out of all water Make sure to clean the steam control
vent before and after use.
