About Cookware
Cookware Suitable for HIGHLIGHT
•
Most of the pans with a flat base can be used for the Highlight cooking zones.
- Use pans with a flat base.
- The most efficient pans are the ones with bases that are the same size as the size
of the zone.
- Enamel steel cookware with a 2-3mm thick base and about 2-6mm thick stainless
steel cookware are recommended for use on this product.
Stainless pot
- Remove the pan from the ceramic top once cooking is done on the Highlight cooking zone.
Some cookware (enamel-coated pots, etc.) may get stuck on the ceramic top if left for a long time, causing damage to the cooktop.
Cookware Unsuitable for HIGHLIGHT
•
Unsuitable Structure
Sometimes, cookware made of suitable materials cannot be used due to its structure. Do not use cookware with
jagged edges or a curved base (jagged or curved over 2mm).
•
Be careful of using a pan with jags or a rough base which can scratch or damage the ceramic top.
•
Use a pan with a clean and dry bottom to protect the ceramic top from being contaminated.
•
Be careful of scratches to the ceramic top that may be caused by the pan being dragged or moved while placed on the cooktop.
※
Among earthen pots and ceramic pots currently in the market, some have rough bottom surfaces, so please pay attention to their bottom surfaces to avoid
causing scratches on the ceramic top plate.
•
Do not use any gear for direct-fired cooking.
•
Do not cook with any material unspecified for use, such as aluminum foil that may cover the ceramic top.
•
Do not cook anything (including dried squid and seaweed) straight on the Highlight cooking zone without a pan.
- This may cause heavy stains and damage the ceramic top.
