Introduction to the
I-DSL64
The
I-DSL64
is a stand-alone data circuit-terminating equipment (DCE) unit that
connects data terminal equipment (DTE) to the digital data network (DDN). The
I-DSL64
utilizes 2B1Q line coding and echo cancellation technique for full duplex
operation at synchronous 64Kbps transmission rate over 2-wire unconditioned twisted
pair.

Loop timing
Internal timing
External timing: From DTE interface

Local loopback
Digital loopback
CSU loopback
DSU loopback

Built-in 2047 BERT pattern generator and receiver for each DTE port
