8. Use of the device
AssistX Call
is supplied with power via the call system or an external
5V USB power supply unit. In both cases, depending on the call sys-
tem, the device also works in the event of a power failure in the net-
work. When powered by an

external power supply unit, the built-in
lithium polymer battery guarantees full functionality for a few hours
in the event of a power failure.
Depending on the call system, the call line can be interrupted or clo-
sed for an adjustable time. The switching contacts are connected to
the call system using the cable that matches the call system.
Standard configuration:
In the standard configuration, AssistX Call switches the call contact
for 1.5 seconds when the entrance sensor has been activated.
