CONNECTING THE INTERFACE
Follow these steps to properly install the interface module.
Step 3
- Use the facotry 20-PIN connector to tap for DATA. Normally the 20-Pin connector will be GRAY and the CAN wire is located
on PIN 4 of the factory connector. Shown below is the WIRE VIEW (Solid Light Green)
Step 4
- You will need to cut the DATA wire in order to properly connect the module. With the wire cut, use the side coming from the car
to go to the INPUT (Yellow/Black) wire on the 8-PIN Harness. Connect the solid YELLOW back to the portion on the factory
connector. See diagram below.
