6. CHECK AIR CLEANER ELEMENT

WARNING: Never run the generator without the
air cleaner element as damage to the engine may
occur.
• The air cleaner must be changed when the output
of engine decreases or if the exhaust colour looks
darker than normal. See page 19.
7. CONNECTING ELECTRICAL DEVICES

NOTE: This generator is fitted with an RCD Circuit
Breaker. ALWAYS test RCD switch before every use.
!
CAUTION: Do not use any appliance with a
damaged cord or switch.
!
NOTE: Allow the engine to stabilise and warm up
for a few minutes after starting.
!
NOTE: Make sure the electrical devices are in their
‘OFF’ position and the load current is not higher than
the maximum withstanding current of a single socket.
