Rear Learning Function
REAR INSTALLATIONS:
If you have something attached to the rear of your vehicle, you will need to “teach” the system to not
look at the object mounted in the rear.
To do this:
- Turn the Ignition/Accessory to the ON position
- Change the gear selector from “N” to “R” 10 times in 10 seconds
- On the 10th time, keep the gear selector in “R” for 6 seconds
- After 6 seconds, you will hear a short alert followed by a long alert
- The learning process has been completed.
To clear the learned setting:
- Turn the Ignition/Accessory to the ON position
- Change the gear selector from “N” to “R” 12 times in 12 seconds
- On the 12th time, keep the gear selector in “R” for 8 seconds
- After 8 seconds, you will hear a short alert followed by a second short alert
- The learning process has been cleared.
NOTE: You have 3 minutes to carry out the above procedures from the time you start. If you do not
complete the process in the 3 minutes, turn the Ignition/Accessory OFF and then back ON.
NOTE: If at any time in the process you make a mistake, simply remove the gear selector from “R”
for 3 seconds and start the procedure over again.
