Using Modem-
On-Hold
When a phone call comes in while you are online, a dialog
box similar to Figure 5-1 appears, showing information
about the caller.
Receiving a call
1. Either click the
Answer Call
button to pause your
Internet connection and answer the call, or click the
Ignore Call
button to remain online. If you accept
the call, a dialog box similar to Figure 5-2 appears,
indicating how much time you have to complete your
call.
2. After completing your call, hang up the telephone and
then click the
Resume my Internet Connection
button.
Note:
The length of hold time available is determined by your ISP. If your call is longer
than the available hold time, your Internet connection will be disconnected and you will
need to dial-up again after completing the call.

Modem-On-Hold features.
