MAINTENANCE 

 

CAUTION:  

Always be sure that the heater is switched OFF, unplugged and completely 
cooled before cleaning or attempting to store the item.  Do not immerse heater 
in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the heater, as this could 
create an electric shock hazard. 
 
Please Note:

 Regardless of the type of heating system setup, always install and 

maintain at least one smoke detector in good working condition on each floor of your 
home.  Periodically check and/or replace the battery in your smoke detector with a fresh 
battery. 
 

CARE AND CLEANING 

 

1.

 

Always turn off the heater and disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet 
before cleaning your heater. 

2.

 

Light accumulated dust may be removed from the heater with a soft cloth or 
vacuum cleaner. 

3.

 

Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry 
cloth.  

DO NOT

 use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the 

heater. 

DO NOT 

allow water to run into the interior of the heater as this could create a 

fire or electric shock hazard. 

4.

 

The fan motor is lubricated for life and will not require further lubrication.

 

 

AIR FILTER 

 

 

Clean air filter monthly if needed.  

 

Remove the air filter for cleaning as shown in 
the following diagram. 

 

Do not use chemicals for cleaning. 

 

Use  the  soft  cloth  to  wipe  the  dust.  If  you 
use water for cleaning, please make sure the 
air  filter  is  dry  before  reinstall  back  to  the 
unit. 

 
 
 
 
 
 

 

STORING

 

 
Allow the appli9ance to cool completely before storing.  Store the appliance in a dry 
location.  Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may 
result in possible damage of appliance.  Store the cord in a clean, dry location away 
from metal objects.  Always check the plug before use to assure metal items have not 
become attached.
