Running Direct Burial Cable from Basin to Control Panel
STEPS & TIPS:
• All Penetrations Through the Basin MUST Be Sealed Watertight
• Cord Grip Penetrations MUST be Made Using a Drill and Appropriate Tap.
• Inlet Not Yet Connected - Shown For Reference Only
• Allow Approximately 7 Feet of Cable Inside the Basin to Allow for Wiring
and Cover Removal

To Field Install Cord Grip:
1.Drill 59/64” hole through
basin wall.
2.
FROM INSIDE
, tap hole
¾” NPT being careful to
run tap to a depth 1-2
threads shallow.
3.Thread cord grip body
into hole
FROM INSIDE
of tank and tighten until
hex shoulder bottoms out
on tank wall.
