MOTOR
PROBlEM
CAUsE
CORRECTiOn
Brake does not stop the
blade within 10 seconds.
1. Motor brushes not sealed or lightly sticking.
2. Motor brake overheated from use of defective or
wrong size blade or rapid ON/OFF cycling.
3. Arbor bolt loose.
4. Brushes cracked, damaged, etc.
5. Other.

Inspect/clean/replace brushes. See MAINTENANCE section.

Use a recommended blade. Let cool down. See REMOVING OR
INSTALLING THE BLADE section.
3.
Retighten. See REMOVING OR INSTALLING THE BLADE section.

Replace brushes.

Contact Service Center or Authorized Service Station.
Motor does not start.

Limit switch failure

Brush worn.
