CONNECTING THE HOSES
BLEEDER/NON-BLEEDER CONNECTOR
The Air Pressure Washer comes equipped with an air
hose connector that is designed for use with air compres-
sors having a pressure relief valve or a pressure switch.
Some small, limited capacity compressors do not have a
pressure relief valve or a pressure switch. In this situation,
a bleeder type air hose connector is required. One has
been supplied with your Air Pressure Washer and is
located at the end of the 10' chemical draw hose. It is
identical to the non-bleeder connector, except for a tiny
hole located on its side. This hole will relieve excess air
pressure.
To install the bleeder type connector:
1. Using a 5/8" open end wrench, unscrew the non-
bleeder connector located at the base of the Air
Pressure Washer, (middle fitting).
2. Remove the bleeder connector from the end of the
chemical draw hose.
3. Remove the "O" ring from the non-bleeder con-
nector and install it on the bleeder connector.
4. Screw the bleeder connector into the base of the
Air Pressure Washer. Tighten gently using a 5/8"
open end wrench.
5. Slip the non-bleeder connector onto the end of the
chemical draw hose, where it will serve as a
weight.
WATER HOSE
Connect your garden hose to the Water Connector.
Tighten by hand.
AIR HOSE
Using a 5/8" open end wrench, hold the air hose
connector. Connect your air hose and tighten the hose
with an adjustable wrench. Do not overtighten.
CHEMICAL DRAW HOSE
Attach the chemical draw hose to the chemical draw hose
connector. Simply slip the hose over the connector with
your hand.
The plastic threads in the base of the Air
Pressure Washer can be damaged by cross
threading or over-tightening. Do not
overtighten.
To tighten or loosen an air hose to this
connector you must use two wrenches or you
could damage the plastic threads on the
base of the Air Pressure Washer.
Never apply air pressure to the Chemical
Draw Hose Connector. Doing so could dam-
age the Air Pressure Washer.
The chemical draw hose connector is de-
signed for hand application of soft, flexible
hoses. Do not use any type of hose clamp or
adhesive.
