1. Remove the ash vacuum from the
package.
2. Unlock the latches and remove the
power head lid. (Fig. 1)
3. Remove the contents from inside
the collection tank (Fig. 2) and make
sure you have all the parts listed on
page 6.
4. Place the pre-fi lter and power head
lid on the collection tank and secure
with the latches. (Fig. 3)
5. Insert the locking end of the hose
onto the vacuum port. (Fig. 4)
6. Insert the aluminum wand into the
other end of the hose. (Fig. 5) Insert
the crevice tool onto the hose for
vacuuming narrow spaces.
7. Connect the power cord to the outlet
(Fig. 6) and turn the vacuum cleaner
power switch on.
8. Run the unit for 30 seconds after you
have fi nished cleaning your stove
or fi replace to ensure all materials
are safely captured in the collection
tank.
CAUTION:
Never use ash vacuum
without the aluminum wand, crevice
tool, or mini hose in place.
WARNING:
Do not plug in power cord to power outlet, make sure plug is
disconnected before assembling the ash vacuum.
WARNING:
Be sure to read, understand and apply all the information in the
Important Safety Instructions section at the beginning of this operator's manual.
Do not vacuum in areas with fl ammable gases, vapors, or explosive dusts in the
air. Flammable gases or vapors include but are not limited to: lighter fl uid,
solvent type cleaners, oil-base paints, gasoline, alcohol, or aerosol sprays.
Explosive dusts include but are not limited to: coal, magnesium, grain, or gun
powder. To reduce the risk of health hazards from vapors or dust, do not
vacuum toxic materials.
