8. Blade Assembly.
9. Light Kit Assembly.
Remove 1 screw from motor plate on
underside of motor housing and partially
loosen the other 2 screws.
Connect the
WHITE
wire from the light kit fitter
to the
WHITE
wire from motor housing.
Connect the
BLACK
wire from the light kit fitter
to the
BLACK
wire from the motor housing.
Make sure the molex connections snap
together securely.
Carefully arrange wiring and align slotted
holes in light kit fitter with loosened screws in
motor plate. Twist to lock. Re-insert screw that
was previously removed and securely tighten
all 3 screws with Phillips screwdriver.
Remove socket ring from light kit fitter.
Carefully raise large and small glass shades to
motor housing, allowing socket to come
through holes. Replace socket ring on socket to
secure shades.
Install one medium base 13 watt max. compact
fluorescent bulb (included).
Important
: When replacing bulb, please allow
bulb and shades to cool down before touching
them.
Locate 6 blade attachment screws and 12
decorative screws, hex nuts and washers in the
hardware packs. Align holes in blade with holes in
blade arm. (
Note label on blade indicating
THIS SIDE UP.
) Push decorative screws through
from underside and insert hex nuts (along with
washers and spring washers) from topside.
Tighten all 4 screws securely. Repeat procedure
with remaining blades.
Slide blade arm through two of the narrow,
rectangular openings on motor housing, aligning
holes in blade arm with holes in cushion inside of
motor housing--
refer to drawing at right
.
Attach blade arms with screws. Tighten screws
securely. Repeat procedure with remaining blade
arms.
Note:
Tighten blade arm screws twice a year.
