Remove the 4 switch housing screws from
switch housing in order to separate the
switch housing plate from the switch
housing. Save switch housing screws for later
use.
Remove 1 screw from fitter plate on
underside of motor housing and partially
loosen the other 2 screws. Align slotted
holes in center of switch housing plate with
loosened screws in fitter plate, allowing male
plugs from motor housing to come through
hole in middle of switch housing plate. Twist
switch housing plate to lock. Re-insert fitter
plate screw that was just removed and
securely tighten all 3 fitter plate screws with
Phillips screwdriver. (

If you wish
to use the fan
WITH
the light kit, proceed to
“Light Kit Assembly” instructions on the
following page.
Connect male plug from motor housing to
female plug from switch housing matching
up the colors on the male plug with the
colors on the female plug for correct fit.
Make sure plugs connect tightly. (

Align holes in switch housing with holes in
switch housing plate. Re-insert 4 switch
housing screws that were previously
removed and use a Phillips screwdriver to
secure all screws. (

To continue
installation of fan
WITHOUT
the light kit,
proceed to Section 13, page 11.
Align 5 holes in motor plate with 5 holes at the
bottom of motor housing. Install motor plate to
the underside of the motor housing with the
remaining motor screws and lock washers
provided. Securely tighten all screws.
WARNING
: Failure to secure motor plate
correctly may result in fan wobble or serious
injury.
Note
: Tighten motor screws twice a year.
