6. Fan Assembly (flushmount).
Blade arms must be removed prior to start of
flushmount installation. Remove 2 blade arm
screws/washers from each blade arm on
underside of motor housing. [

Save blade arm screws/washers for re-installation.
Note:
Yoke cover and canopy are
not
used with
this type of installation.
Remove 2 screws
on opposing sides
from the rim
on underside of mounting plate and partially
loosen the other 2 screws. [

To prepare fan for wiring, raise motor housing to
mounting plate and attach loop on little safety
cable to j-hook on mounting plate. [
Refer to
diagram 3

] This will allow the motor housing to
hang out of the way while wiring.
Attach safety cable per instructions in last two
paragraphs of Section 5, page 5.
Proceed to Section 7 on page 7 for instructions
on WIRING and then proceed to Section 8 for
motor housing attachment.
