Measure the piston pin boss crosswise.
Wear limit: 10.05 mm
Measure the piston pin crosswise at three
spots.
Wear limit: 9.95 mm
When mounting new piston rings pay attention
to whether the bevelled side of the piston rings
faces upwards.
Slightly move the piston rings to the left and to
the right while watching the position spigots.
Lubricate the piston rings and the ring grooves
with a small amount of two-stroke oil.
If piston rings shall be reused, then
they have to be checked for wear
before they are mounted.
The piston rings have to be pressed in at about
10mm into the slightly oiled cylinder and have
to be aligned at a right angle to the tread.
Measure the ring gap of the piston with a feeler
gauge in order to ensure that the values are
within the specified tolerance.
Wear limit: 0.7 mm
