Touch the Circuit Check button to initiate the first step. The message “Circuit Check Test in Progress” is
displayed, as shown in Figure 2-24.

When the first step is completed, remove the cap occluding the patient circuit y-piece, then touch the
Circuit Check button again to complete the test.
