BREW HOT COFFEE

1.  Open the water reservoir’s lid.

2.  Fill the water reservoir. Follow the water window’s markings to fill to your

desired amount of cups.

NOTE: Do not

fill the water reservoir above the “12 MAX HOT” / maximum

mark or below the “2 MIN” / minimum mark.

3.  Add pre-ground coffee into the filter. The suggested amount is 1 tbs. per cup.

Add additional grounds for stronger coffee.

Do not

 fill above the Max mark.

4.  Close the lid. Place the carafe on the warming plate.

5.  For extra robust coffee, press the STRONG / ICED button once. STRONG

appears on the display.

NOTE:

To cancel the stronger coffee, press the STRONG/ICED button twice.

STRONG no longer appears on the display.

6.  Press the BREW NOW button. The brew light blinks while brewing and stays

on while keeping the coffee warm.

7.  Once brewing has completed, the default keep warm setting will keep coffee

hot for 2 hours and then the coffee maker will automatically turn off. To adjust
the keep warm settings, see

ADJUST KEEP WARM FUNCTION

 on page 12.

8.  While in keep warm mode, the FRESHNESS INDICATOR on the display

counts up, showing the time since the coffee was brewed.

NOTE:

To turn off keep warm mode at any time, press the BREW NOW button

and ensure the brew light is off.
