Filling the water reservoir
In order for the air cooler to be able to cool and humidify the air the water reservoir must be
filled with cold water in addition to ice or freezer blocks. If the water reservoir is withdrawn when
the air cooler is switched on, the air cooler will automatically switch off. When the water reservoir
is replaced, the air cooler must be switched on again. The air cooler cannot be switched on if
the water reservoir is not fitted correctly.
1. Switch the air cooler off and unplug it from
the wall socket.
2. Unlock the water reservoir.
3. Pull out the water reservoir drawer and fill
it with water and ice or freezer blocks.
Note:
Do not fill the reservoir above
the maximum water level mark.
4. Slide the water reservoir back in and lock it
in place.
Note:
The air cooler will emit an audible signal for
10 seconds if the water level drops too low.
Button sound and warning signal on/off
Hold in the buttons for setting the horizontal louvre and vertical louvre oscillation simultaneously
for 3 seconds to switch the sound off. Hold the button in again to switch the sound back on again.
Continuous operation
The air cooler will operate for 15 hours and then switch off automatically. The continuous
operation function can be disabled so that the air cooler operates until it is switched off
manually by holding in the vertical louvre oscillation on/off button and the timer setting button
simultaneously for 3 seconds. Pressing the buttons again will enable the function again.
In the event of a power cut
The air cooler is automatically set to standby mode when the power comes back on after a power cut.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug the mains lead from the wall socket before cleaning the cooler or filling
the water reservoir.
