Preparation
Pull out the plug
1. Choose correct scraper blade (see Fig C, D, E and F
for examples).
2. Press the blade lock (5) backward to l “Unlock”.
3. Push the selected scraper blade into the holder(4) as
far as it goes.
4. Press the blade lock (5) forward to “Lock”.
5. Check that the blade is sitting firmly by trying to pull
it out.
NOTE! Remember to turn the scraper blade in the
right direction. The curved blade must always point
downward (see big diagram).
Use
1. Start the scraper by setting the switch to “1” position.
NOTE! Stroke movement does not begin until the
scraper is pressed against the workpiece.
2. Press the scraper blade carefully against a test piece
or a concealed piece of the work surface to determine
the right scraper blade and work method.
3. Adjust the speed with the dial (1). “1” is the lowest
speed for precision work; MAX is the highest speed
for bigger, less precise operations.
4. Switch off the scraper by setting the on-off switch to
“0”. Pull out the plug.
Tips:
• Always begin at the lowest speed and increase
as needed.
• Always maintain firm hold of the scraper and work away from yourself.
• Always begin at the smallest angle and apply pressure to the appliance.
• Do not press too hard on material such as tiles, wood, or plaster.
• The scraper blade and blade holder become hot as they are used. Switch off
from time to time and let them cool.
• As you work check that you are not blocking the cool air openings on the motor.
