Installation
Main unit
1. Remove the battery cover (12) to access the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately) observing the polarity markings in
the battery compartment.
3. Refit the battery cover.
4. Choose where the main unit is to be placed:
-
Standing on a flat surface using the table stand (13).
-
Hanging on a wall using the hanging slot (10).
5. Attached to a magnetic surface using the magnet inside the back cover.
Sensor
1. Slide the battery cover (16) down to access the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately) observing the polarity markings in
the battery compartment.
3. Click the battery cover back into place.
4. Hang the sensor on a wall outside using the hanging slot (15).
Operating instructions
Temperature display
• The main unit should receive data from the sensor and display the temperature
within 3 minutes of the batteries having been inserted in both devices.
• Refer to the
Troubleshooting
section if there is a problem.
1. Select the units, Celsius or Fahrenheit, using the [ C/F ] button (9).
2. Press [ MAX/MIN ] (11) to display the maximum or minimum temperature.
The display will return to displaying the current temperature after a few seconds.
3. Hold [ MAX/MIN ] pressed down for a few seconds to clear the max/min
temperature memory.
Temperature trend
The temperature trend symbol (2) shows an arrow which points in different directions
depending on whether the latest temperature reading is higher or lower than previous
readings.
• Arrow angled upwards = Temperature has risen
• Horizontal arrow = No temperature change
• Arrow angled downwards = Temperature has fallen
