Connecting the Mattress Platform Springs

With the bed flat and the springs facing up, lift the head spring section upward to
give slack to the spring “fabric”.
2.
Repeat the procedure until all six mattress retainers are installed. There should
one retainer on either side of the bed and two on both ends of the bed.

Installing the Head/Foot Electric Motor Unit
1.
Ensure the hand pendant and Hi-Lo motor (Full-electric version only) cable is
connected to the dual motor unit.
2.
Remove the slide caps on both ends of the dual motor unit.
3.
The motor is labelled on both sides with head and foot direction. Orientate the
motor properly and align it with actuator bars and bed mounting brackets.
