3-4-4. Operating Procedure
Operating procedure for each button is described below.
Select: Press the [ AIR ADJ.] button for one
second. (Press the button to cycle through
the options)
Confirm: Press the [ AIR ADJ.] and [ POWER]
buttons simultaneously.
Return: Press the [ POWER] button.
(Each press of the button will return to the
previous screen.)
Reverse sequence: Press and hold the [ AIR ADJ.] and [ POWER] buttons
simultaneously for 3 seconds.
(A) Alarm Test
Enter the user mode (page 16), and take the following steps.
1) While [AL TEST] is displayed, press the [ AIR
ADJ.] and [ POWER] buttons simultaneously.
--> [AL1] (1

2) To select [AL2] (2

stage alarm), press the [ AIR
ADJ.] button.

3) To confirm the selection, [AL1] or [AL2], press the

current alarm volume will be displayed.

How to reverse the display sequence
Press and hold the [ AIR ADJ.] and [ POWER]
buttons simultaneously to reverse the display sequence.
After one beep, the arrow icon in the bottom right corner of
the LCD will flip vertical.
The same operation reverses the display sequence again.
The sequence returns to the default (upward arrow ) if
the unit is turned off.

* Battery saving mode is set to “ON” by default when shipped out. If the battery saving mode is
set to “OFF”, the detection cycle of the combustible gas sensor and the response time will be
shortened, resulting in halving the battery life.
* A personal computer and a data logger kit (sold separately) are required to read out logging
data. See the data logger kit’s instruction manual for read-out procedure.
3-4-3. Exit Mode
While navigating in the user mode, press the [ POWER] button to return to the
previous step.
To exit the user mode, press the [ POWER] button repeatedly until the LCD
returns to the <gas concentrations> screen.
