LS-R700 computes leakage based on the measurement of the pressure difference between the non-leaking
master and the tested part.
K(Ve) is "leak coefficient" which is used for converting measured differential pressure into a flow rate.
For Master --- Master Chamber, Non-leaking part, Tubing or Other.
Leak Calibrator
Leak Master for NG limit check: Flow should be 1.2 ~ 1.5 times
larger than the Leak Limits
Criterion for “Not Leaking” --- Readout = 5Pa ~ 20Pa with relative consistency.
Leak/Consistency
Check
Determine the following conditions before the initial adjustment.
Condition Check
Test Pressure
Preparation
Prepare the following items:
Preliminary
Settings
Master
Non-leaking parts (Must be at ambient temperature and dry): 3 or more pieces
Defective (Leaking) parts (Large leak): 1 or more
Calibrator --- For K(Ve) measurement --- Leak Master:
Δ
P = 200 ~ 500Pa
Timers
A2 Pneumatic Circuit
Other than A2
Pressurization (CHG) = 40s
Equalization (BAL1) = 30s
Stabilization (BAL2) = 5s
Detection (DET) = 5s
Pressurization (CHG) = 60s
Equalization (BAL1) = 0.5s
Stabilization (BAL2) = 30s
Detection (DET) = 5s
Test Pressure UL/LL --- ±10KPa
Perform leak tests 3 times with the known good parts.
Air leak test system is more than likely to be leaking
Not Leaking
Automatic Setup
Pressurization (CHG) = Automatically setup
Equalization (BAL1) = Automatically setup
Stabilization (BAL2) = Automatically setup
Detection (DET) = Fixed to 5s
Use the following settings or perform Automatic Setup for the initial settings.
1.
Check the test parameter
2.
Spot the leak location by applying soap solution.
2. Check whether the tested part is leaking or clamp force is sufficient.
1. Check the tube and fittings up to the tested part.
