ALUMINUM AND ITS ALLOYS
!
Get dressed properly: avoid wearing clothes with large sleeves
or objects, such as scarves, chains and bracelets which could be
hooked from moving parts.
This sawing machine produces an equivalent level of acoustic
pressure (under normal conditions of use described in this
manual):

1.4 GENERAL SAFETY
It is not suitable for cutting:
!
STEEL AND ALUMINUM PROFILES
!
Any extended wired power must be a type approved and
answer to safety standards.
!
Do not use it outdoors, when the weather conditions and
general environment does not permit it (example: Explosive
atmospheres, during a storm or rain).
!
Do not use the machine in very damp places or in the presence
of flammable liquids or gases.
!
Always use personal protective equipment: safety glasses
meet, gloves sized to fit the hand, headphones or earplugs and
headphones to contain hair, if necessary.
!
BRASS
!
SPECIAL STEEL (C40, 18NiCrMo5)
!
If you want to get the best performance from your sawing
machine use the tools recommended in this manual.
!
Do not use the machine if you are in poor physical conditions or
altered.
1.5 SAFETY RULES FOR RESIDUAL RISKS
The band saw has been designed and built for dry
cutting or is possible to use lubricating coolant spray.
!
Keep always clean the cutting area by machining residues.
!
Always use the grip: the pieces to be cut must always be held
firmly in the vise.
!
Always keep your hands away from the working areas while the
machine is moving: before performing any operation of loading
and unloading of the workpiece - release the start button of the
handle.
!
Do not force the machine unnecessarily: excessive cutting
pressure could cause rapid deterioration of the blade and reduce
the performance of the machine in terms of finishes and cutting
precision.
1.6 INFORMATION ABOUT THE NOISE
Leq = 81.2 dB (A) during the lavorazion (eg. Cutting of a steel tube
Fe52, D.80mm thickness 5 mm) to the maximum speed of 80 m /
min, with a cycle of operation of the weighted 2 minutes.
The surveys were carried out according to standards UNI7712,
ISO3740, ISO3746 and EEC 89/392.
Vibration level m / s2 <2.5 (2.25)
Surveys carried out according to standards: ISO
5349
Leq = 79.0 dB (A) at idle.
The surveys were carried out according to standards
UNI7712, ISO3740, ISO3746 and EEC 89/392.
Take care to place the machine in a suitable working
environment that is as conditions like brightness:
always remember that the general conditions of the
working environment are essential in the
prevention of accidents.
1.7 INFORMATION ON ELECTROMAGNETIC
COMPATIBILITY
The European regulations on safety and, in particular, the EEC
Directive 89/336, require that all the equipment have to be
equipped with shielding devices against radio interferences both
from and towards the external environment.
This machine is equipped with filters both on the engine and on
nutrition and that make it safe and complies with the requirements.
The tests were performed according to the standards EN55014,
EN61000.3.2, EN61000.3.3
1.8 DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE (Fig.1)
The band sawing machine is composed by two basic parts: the
machine body (4) complete with the drive motor (6) which is
connected solidly to the lower part, composed by the base (12) and
the grip (10), via the rotatable support (8).
Here below there is a list of the main parts which correspond to the
number which identifies it in FIG.

2.0 INSTALLATION
2.1 REMOVING PACKAGING
Remove the box that protects the machine during transport, taking
care as far as possible to keep the packaging intact - in case you
need to move the sawing machine for long distances or store it for
long periods.
2.2 MACHINE MOVEMENT
Having regard to the weight is enough only one person for handling
and transportation. Remember that is necessary to lock the arch
properly in low position before transport.
2.3 TRANSPORT
To transport the machine from one job to another put lower the
body of the cutting machine all the way down and secure it in this
position.
In case you need to transport the machine, put it back in the original
box, being careful to insert it in the right position.
It is a good idea to attach the load with belts or safety ropes in order
to avoid movements or falls during transportation.
2.4 POSITION / WORK PLACE
Place the machine on a sufficiently flat bench in order to have the
best possible stability.
To perform the work into ergonomic criteria the ideal height of the
bench must be one that allows you to positionize the plane of the
vise between 90 and 95 cm from the ground (see Figure 3).
