1. CORUM
Established in 1955 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, CORUM has always taken
pride in being a refreshingly different and forward-thinking Swiss timepiece
manufacturer.
Since its founding CORUM has constantly produced timepieces which naturally live
up to the lofty standards of Haute Horlogerie. The movements in the collection are
all crafted by the most talented watchmakers and the details of the movement’s
finish testify to their passion. Close attention is paid to each component and to all
the production phases to achieve the highest precision and to meet the codes of
Swiss fine watchmaking.
Technical excellence, understated elegance and distinctive design meet and merge
to create perfectly balanced and sophisticated timepieces.
All our watches are created respecting the heritage handed down by René
Bannwart, the founder of CORUM. This heritage is mainly focused on the quality and
the originality of design, using unconventional creativity.
The spirit of CORUM is a mix of boldness, distinction and passion. These are the
values that we share through creations with a strong identity and recognizable
among all.
The CORUM collection is based on three pillars which enjoy a legitimacy rooted in
the brand history: Admiral, CORUM Bridges and Heritage.
ADMIRAL
In 1960, the first interpretation of the “Admiral” model paved the way for CORUM’s
success. This model remains in collection thanks to its history which is inextricably
bound up with major sailing competitions and prestigious sailors, as well as for its
inimitable aesthetic based on the twelve-sided case and the twelve nautical
pennants.
CORUM BRIDGES
The brand’s flagship complication model, the “Golden Bridge”, was introduced in 1980
and remains a benchmark with its patented baguette movement. Moreover, it is also
regarded as an avant-garde watch thanks to its movement placed in the center of a
transparent sapphire crystal case. Since the original concept, the collection has
been extended by models that embody the same features.
HERITAGE
The Heritage collection embodies a blend of watch-making creativity and
outstanding expertise. Each model fully incorporate the history of CORUM, through
designs that show the creative richness of the brand. The Heritage pillar is the
timeless expression of the timepieces of the brand.
