PROBLEM
Once the command has been sent, the motor
does not start.
The motor starts but the shade sail does not
open.
Shade sail movement is not fluid.
Lack of power supply.
Opening is difficult.
Too much force on the cable is required.
The shade sail does not open.
The rope does not slide.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
No electricity in the mains.
Power plug is not connected to the mains.
Motor overheating.
Wrong limit switch setting.
Remote control batteries dead.
Possible broken or stuck ropes.
Return pulleys dirty or not perfectly aligned.
Dirty return pulleys.
Rope not perfectly aligned with the pulleys or slipped off
completely.
CONTROLS AND REMEDIES
Make sure the electricity is working in the house.
Make sure the plug is properly connected to a functioning
socket.
Wait 10-15 minutes to allow the
motor to cool. See the motorisation instructions to reprogram
the limit switch.
Change the battery in the remote control.
Check the correct movement of the ropes in the return
pulleys.
Clean the return pulleys (see chapter Maintenance).
Activate the motor with the manual winding handle.
Clean the return pulleys.
Check the correct movement and alignment of the ropes of
the return pulleys.
