One express (mid-span) cable may be placed in the express port or up to two individual cables may be installed
using the supplied three-finger clip.
Step 1:
Place a wrap of tape around the cable sheath at the distance specified in
. Remove indicated
length of cable sheath and armor (where applicable) according to cable manufacturer’s instructions.

IMPORTANT:
Do not expose the bare fibers until after the cable has been placed in the closure end cap. Do not
untwist the subunits or remove their jacketing.
Step 2:
Pull the outer jacket open to the tape mark
. Ring cut about halfway through the GRP rods
and polyethelene jacket. Bend the jacket back.
Step 3:
After jacket is bent back, cut off the jacket and GRP rods
. Then remove water-swellable tape
with scissors.
