TROUBLE SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR
IMD GLACIER 500-30, 230V / 50HZ
1.
Stand-by Condition:
Line voltage is present between Blue and Red (Terminal number 18 of timer)
2.
Timing condition:
Voltage is present between Blue and Yellow.
3.
Run Condition:
Line voltage is switched ON at red wire (Terminal number 18 of timer).
4.
Bin full condition:
0VAC between Violet and Blue wires.
This test will require Multimeter and a small probe set. System status: Stand- by- condition.
A. Connect the meter’s ground probe to the Blue wire.
B. With the meter adjusted to read 120/230 VAC. Measure voltage between Blue and Red (Terminal num-
ber 18 of timer).
C. With unit calling for ice. This measurement should be line voltage.
D. Measurement between Blue and Red (Terminal number 18 of timer) should be 0VAC.
E. Measure between Blue and Yellow. Correct reading is 0VAC.
F. Depress the dispense switch/lever. The Blue / Yellow measurement should change from 0VAC line
voltage.
