5.1. PROFINET Protocol
Follow the steps below to configure
users’ local PLC and establish a PLC connection over PROFINET.
Note:
I
t is the user’s responsibility to install and activate the required TIA
portal locally in order to
establish a PLC connection through the PROFINET protocol.
1. Establish a connection between a PLC subnet and the TigoMaster 2TH IO-Link Wireless Master.
2. Open the TIA
portal.
3. Click the
Options
button in the top menu of the application.
4. Click the
Manage General Station Description (GSD) Files
option in the list.

5. A pop-up window will open with a list of available GSD files received from CoreTigo Ltd.
6. Select the relevant GSD file under the
Installed GSDs
tab.
7. Click the
Install
button.
