PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
When we were creating the product our base was the USB/SPIDF converting (bridge) panel.
This panel includes the necessary components that make the quality digital data transmitting
possible. We based the whole product around this panel with the right sizing.
The whole equipment is made with vibration absorbing parts. It starts at the bottom of the
case where 4 silicone pads are absorbing all the vibration from the case. A case of an
equipment in the modern era should not only take part in vibration absorbtion but also in
leading the heat off generated during the operation of the different parts of the equipment.
The elimination of any vibration started at transformer, it is triple shielded and 4 antivibration
damp helps to eliminate the vibrations from the transformer side to the other parts.
The equipment operates with 230V/50Hz input voltage and it’s power supply is completely
separated for all stages with a ultra low-noise analog, linear power circuit (the KARUNA P24
built with 3 circuits linear PSU). We use short and optimized PCB conduction bands. For the
external power we use a high quality standard Furutech IEC socket with changeable fuse.
The standard inside cabling is done with cables containing UP-OCC solid copper wires on DC
side and special clock cables on clock signal path.
On the main panel, among other, the followings are placed: the clock signals connecting points
the XMOS chip, the clock signal needed for operating the standard clock signals of 44.1KHz
and 48KHz (and it’s multiplied versions such as 88.2 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 96 kHz, 192 kHz), and a
different one (24 MHz) for operating the USB port. All clock signals comes from own developed
Core Audio Kft.’s special OCXO (reference 10MHz clock module) PLL controlled masterclock
panel. Thanks to the MasterClock panel, all clock signal what necessary to the USB/SPDIF
board running on the same clock signal, with ultra low jitter and phase noise. No matter the
level or stage, there are extremely short signal pathways using high quality, low heat-
dependent parts.
The central control panel contains the most recent XMOS XU216 16 multicore microcontroller,
guaranteeing that the high definition contents sent through the signal pathway. To ensure the
optimal operation we had to modify the original XMOS chip as well, so we diverged from the
