4. Backplane Connections
4.1 Section 4.2 provides connector pinouts located on the backplane for Alarm or PGTC Interface Unit,
Line Units, and Channel Units.
Section 4.3 provides connectors and termination points located on the backplane for:
•
battery and CO battery return
•
frame ground
•
Local Area Network (LAN)
•
data
•
HDSL, test, composite clock, auxiliary power pairs, and ACO cutoff switch
•
alarm or PGTC test interface
•
subscriber lines
4.2 Table 3 lists the FCS-718 List 4 connectors (Figure 1) and where each is described in
this practice.
