) is closed by
turning it clockwise.
• Hold the gas can vertically and twist on anti-clockwise (

).
• Ensure that a good seal is made.
• Turn the on/off valve (
3
) to the left to a low setting.
Immediately press the ignition button to light the burner
• Adjust the valve to increase or reduce flame intensity.
• Gently waft the flame over the weed at a distance of
approximately 15cm distance (

die in a couple of days. Stronger weeds, woody stems and those
with long deep roots may require a repeat application.
REMOVING THE GAS CAN

turning it clockwise.
• Hold the gas can vertically and turn clockwise (
Fig3

• After turning off the valve the gas will continue to burn from the
extension tube for a short while.
• Allow to cool completely before storage.
• Store the burner and gas can separately.
GAS LEAKS
If gas can be smelt or a gas leak is suspected, turn off the valve (
3
)
and check the sealing washer, or fixing of the can is secure. Never
check for leaks with a naked flame. If in doubt stop use and replace
the gas can.
