Symbols on the machine

For safe operation and maintenance, symbols are carved in relief on the

machine. According to these indications, please be careful not to make any

mistake.

If the warning label peels off or becomes soiled and

impossible to read, you should contact the dealer

from which you purchased the product to order new

labels and affix them in the required location(s).

USING THE PRODUCT

IMPORTANT

Cut only materials recommended by the

manufacturer. And use only for tasks explained in

the manual.

1. Grip the handles firmly with both hands using

your whole hand. Place your feet slightly apart

(slightly further apart than the width of your

shoulders) so that your weight is distributed

evenly across both legs, and always be sure to

maintain a steady, even posture while working.

2. Maintain the speed of the engine at the level

required to perform cutting work, and never

raise the speed of the engine above the level

necessary.

3. If the unit starts to shake or vibrate, turn off the

engine and check the whole unit. Do not use it

until the trouble has been properly corrected.

4. Keep all parts of your body away from rotating

cutting attachment and hot surfaces.

5. Never touch the muffler, spark plug, or other

metallic parts of the engine while the engine is

in operation or immediately after shutting down

the engine. Doing so could result in serious

burns or electrical shock.

Operation

WARNING

Engine exhaust is hot and contains Carbon

Monoxide (CO), a poison gas. Breathing CO can

cause unconsciousness, serious injury or death.

Exhaust can cause serious burns. ALWAYS position

the machine so that exhaust is directed away from

your face and body.

COLD START ENGINE

1. Feed fuel into the fuel tank and tighten the cap

securely.

2. Push the fuel pump primer 10 times until

overflown fuels flows out in to the clear tube.

3. Position the choke lever to the closed position.

4. Position the throttle lever to the ‘Min’ position.

5. With one hand on the engine head and the other

gripping the pull start lever firmly grasp the start

cord lever and pull rapidly until the engine starts.

6. After the engine starts move the choke lever to

the open position.

7. Please Note: never allow the starter cable to

snap back as this may cause damage to the

machine.

WARM ENGINE START

1. The starting procedure is the same as the COLD

ENGINE START except DO NOT close the choke

lever.

STOPPING THE ENGINE

1. Move the throttle trigger to the MIN position and

allow the engine to return to an idling speed

before shutting the engine off.

2. Press and hold the stop button until the engine

has come to a complete stop.

3. If engine does not stop when the stop button is

pressed, close the choke to stall the engine.

WARNING

The blade or trimmer must not move at idle speed,

otherwise serious personal injury may/will occur.

Periodic carburettor adjustments may be required to

recalibrate the blade or trimmer heads do not move

when idle. If the blade or trimmer head move,

adjust the carburettor according to “Carburettor

Adjustment “instructions in this manual.

MAINTANENCE
WARNING

Moving parts can amputate fingers or cause severe

injuries. Keep hands, clothing and loose objects

away from all openings. Always stop the engine,

disconnect the spark plug, and make sure all

moving parts have come to a complete stop before

removing any obstructions, clearing debris, or

servicing the machine. Allow the machine to cool

before performing any service. Wear gloves to

protect your hands from sharp edges and hot

surfaces.
