Clean the bottom water tank
Removing the bottom water tank

Turn off the power and pull out half of the bottom water tank.

There are 2 clips that hold the water pump (circled) in place (photograph 1). The clips are
shown in the photographs below (2 and 3). Just turn the clips to release the water pump. Then
release the water pump from the holder (4).

With the water pump disconnected the bottom water tank can be taken out and cleaned with
neutral detergent and washed with clear water. Reverse the process to re-install. Ensure the
clips are in placed on the water pump.

Clean the shell with neutral detergent and soft cloth.
Clean the wetted pad
1.
Unplug from power supply, take down the air filter screen, then draw the wetted pad from the
support. Clean the wetted pad with neutral detergent and banister brush, then clean it with
clear water. Finally, reinstall in the appliance.
2.
Attention: the wetted pad must be installed horizontally, in order to avoid leaking.
The Wetted Pad needs to be cleaned every 2 months.
Water should be drained from the bottom water tank and fresh water refilled at least once a week.
