OPERATION
MA model tools must be used with a self-relieving valve to allow the clutch to reset. The Metering
Valve can be used to regulate the amount of air entering the tool. Port "C" is upstream from the shut
off valve and can be used for jog starts or injecting oil into the tool. When the self-relieving valve
is opened, the tool starts, and there is line air pressure emitted from Ports "A" and "B". When the
clutch shuts off, Port "A" (Which is down stream from the shut off valve)stops emitting line air
pressure, indicating the tool has shut off. When the self-relieving valve is turned off, it will exhaust
all air and the clutch will reset for another cycle.
