NOTE:
The filter cartridge is attached to the water tank cap. If you
are not going to use the filter, you should remove it by
turning it counterclockwise.
Never run the unit when there is no water in water basin
IMPORTANT!
5) Linder standby status, if you press the compound button, LED ring will
light up in green. Mist will escape from the mist outlet;
6) For more information on the compound button and LED ring, please
refer to “Compound Button and LED Ring” specified in Operation
Instruction;
7) During operation, if LED ring turns from green to blink in red and no
mist is coming out, it means “water shortage protection” is activated.
Add water into water tank and put back the water tank in place. After
that, restart the humidifier;
8) If you want to use the fragrance function, add a few drops of fragrance
liquid into the fragrance duct on the mist outlet cover.
NOTE:
Never add fragrance directly into the water tank or water
channel.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE UNIT
IMPORTANT!
Always switch off and unplug the unit before
cleaning
You can ensure many years of trouble free operation of your humidifier
by following a few simple maintenance procedures.
In some areas, water quality is hard and water is rich in calcium and
magnesian ions. After using the humidifier for a period, some calcium and
magnesian ions will be deposited on the nebulizer and become scale,
which will affect humidifying performance. In addition, the active carbon filter
attached at the air inlet will filter out the large grained dust. After using the
humidifier for a long time, the filter will absorb plenty of dust from air, which
will also affect the humidifying performance. The cleaning and maintenance
method for humidifier is introduced as below:
1. Clean the nebulizer, water tank and water channel frequently.
2. Change the used water in water tank frequently to ensure clean
humidification.
3. If humidifier won’t be used for a long time, unplug the power cord and
clean the humidifier. After cleaning, wipe it dry and then put it into the
original package box. Keep it in a cool and dry place.
How to clean nebulizer:
1. Add about 10ml (you may adjust the volume according to the extent of
scale) of vinegar onto the surface of nebulizer and let it stay for 2~5 minutes.
2. Use a brush to gently clean the surface of nebulizer until the scale is
removed. 3. Wash the surface of nebulizer with clean water.
How to clean water tank:
1. Add a few drops of vinegar or 5 - 10 drops of detergent into the water
tank. Then add water until it occupies 1/4 of the volume of water tank.
2. Twist the water tank cover to make it tight. Then shake the water tank
repeatedly. After that, wash it with clean water.
