Note: This function only operates on one zone at a time; the other zone will continue to operate
as normal.
Using the timer as an alarm
Note:
You can use the timer function independently of the cooking zones.
1. Switch on the hob using (C).
2. Select the cooking zone using (A) and the power level required.
3. When the indicator stops fl ashing, touch the timer key (E) and the timer will fl ash “10”.
4. Touch the “+” or “–” keys once to increase or decrease one minute at a time.
5. Or touch and hold the “+” or “–” keys to increase or decrease ten minutes at a time.
The timer will commence countdown and show the remaining time.
The timer will beep for 30 seconds once completed.
6. To cancel the alarm press then press “–” key until display shows “00”.
Using the timer to switch off the zones
1. Select the cooking zone using (A) and select the power required.
2. Before the indicator stops fl ashing, touch the timer key (E) and the timer will fl ash “10”.

4. Or touch and hold the “+” or “–” keys to increase or decrease ten minutes at a time.

Note: The dot next to the selected timer controlled cooking zone will fl ash when the timer is operative
for example
When using “the timer as an alarm” and “the timer to switch off the zones” together, the display will
show the remaining time of alarm as
fi rst priority. Press cooking zone to show the remaining time of
switch off timer.
Controlling the cooker hood remotely
IMPORTANT: This section is only applicable if you have purchased the optional
Cooke & Lewis Cooker Hood Model: CL60CGRF (EAN 3663602553052).

Before First Use
This cooker hood model CL60CGRF and the induction hob model CLIND60RF must be paired by
radio frequency before remote control can occur. This only needs to be done once.
When connected the power output of the induction hob will control the extraction rate of the
cooker hood.
