2. Assembly
3. Preparation
4. Installing the gas cylinder
Check that your gas barbecue is correctly assembled.
Caution:
Although we make every effort to ensure that assembly is as simple as
possible, sharp edges and corners are not uncommon with treated steel, and
you can cut yourself if you handle it incorrectly during assembly. Take care when
handling the parts as you assemble them. You are strongly advised to wear work
-
ing gloves to protect your hands.
You will need a gas cylinder and a regulator to operate the gas barbecue. The
regulator supplied is approved for use in Denmark.
Please refer to the instructions under item 6.
Tips to save energy:
a) Reduce the time the cover is open.
b) Turn off the barbecue as soon as you have finished cooking the food.
c) Only pre-heat the gas barbecue for 10 to 15 minutes. (Apart from the first
time you use it)
d) Do not pre-heat for longer than the recommended time.
e) Do not use a higher burner setting than necessary.
f) Connect the hose and regulator to the gas cylinder on the left side of the
gas barbecue. Remember not to allow the container close to the heat, and
to keep it in a safe place. The hose dimension is 8-10 mm in diameter.
The
recommended hose length should not exceed 1.5 m.
After purchase your gas cylinder is ready to be connected to the gas barbecue.
a) When replacing a gas cylinder, it must be carried away from all sources of
fire. Place the gas cylinder on the left side of the gas barbecue. Do not place
it inside the barbecue, and remember to place the cylinder away from heat
and in a safe place.
b) When the gas barbecue is ready for use, attach the regulator.
WARNING:
Before attempting to light the gas barbecue, read through the light-
ing-up instructions and warnings and safety recommendations. Check the hose
each time you use it, and look for cracks, cuts or signs of wear. If you discover
that the hose is defective in any way, it must be replaced before the barbecue is
used again.
When replacing the gas cylinder, check that there are no sources of fire close by,
e.g. flames, cigarettes, open fire etc. Check that the barbecue is turned off.
