2.1
Introduction
This installation guide provides complete information for installing and operating the
SPM Power Selector Module. The SPM Power Selector Module is intended for use with
Unidrive SPMA/D parallel drive systems.
The SPM Power Selector Module is an interface device that allows the user to easily
connect or disconnect a Unidrive SPM module from a Unidrive SPM parallel drive
system.
The SPM Power Selector Module can connect or disconnect the parallel cable
connections between Unidrive SPM Power Modules and also provides relay outputs to
allow switching of power contactors.
The SPM Power Selector Module can be considered as a multi way switch for the
paralleling connections of Unidrive SPM Modules. The SPM Power Selector Module
acts as a switch by connecting either the Master 1 or the Master 2 inputs to the slave
output.
