For the proper storage of your refrigerator commodities gifts including gifts the
coldest area, make sure the temperature indicator appears "
OK
".
If "OK" does not appear, the zone temperature is too high. Set the thermostat to a
higher position. Wait 12 hours before adjusting the thermostat. After loading the fresh
food into the appliance or after repeated opening (or extended opening) of the
door, it is normal that the word "OK" does not appear in the temperature indicator.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or qualified persons in order to avoid a danger.
Food Council
The growing consumption of prepared meals and other fragile foods makes it
necessary to better control the temperature of transport and storage of food:
• Store the most sensitive food in the coldest area of the appliance, as indicated in
this manual (chapter Temperature indicator).
•
Limit the number of door openings.
•
Position the thermostat setting to obtain a lower temperature. This adjustment
must be done gradually so as not to freeze the food.
• Clean the interior of the refrigerator frequently.
Temperature setting
- The interior temperature is regulated by the thermostat controlled by the button
located inside the appliance. The 'MAX' position corresponds to the coldest
temperature. The temperature obtained inside the enclosure can vary depending on
the conditions of use: location, ambient temperature, frequency of door opening,
quantity of food inside ...
- The setting can be changed taking into account these conditions. In general, an
average setting in position 'MIN' allows to obtain a conforming temperature; to obtain
more or less cold, adjust the thermostat knob.
- To stop the refrigerator to defrost without unplugging it, turn the thermostat knob to
the left to the 'OFF' position. A click is heard.
