When using the machine, always observe the
enclosed safety instructions as well as
the additional safety instructions.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check that the power
supply corresponds to the
voltage on the rating plate.
DESCRIPTION (FIG. 1)
Your electronic hammer drill has been
designed for drilling in wood, metal, plastic,
stone and concrete and it also has been
designed for screw driving applications.

INSERTING AND REMOVING A DRILL OR
SCREW BIT (FIG. 1)
Open the chuck (4).
Insert the drill or the screw bit in the chuck.
Tighten the chuck by hand.
In order to remove a drill or screw bit,proceed
in reverse order.
Before inserting or removing a drill or screw bit
always remove the plug from the outlet.
MOUNTING THE SIDE GRIP (FIG. 1)
Loosen the knob on the side grip.
Slide the side grip (6) over the chuck on the
machine.
Turn the side grip in the required position and
tighten the knob firmly.
MOUNTING THE DEPTH STOP (FIG. 1)
The depth stop is used to limit the maximum
drilling depth.
Loosen the knob on the side grip.
Insert the depth stop (7) in its intended hole in
the side grip.
Set the depth stop to the required drilling
depth.
Tighten knob firmly.
SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE
Select the required operating mode before
use (drilling or hammer drilling).
For drilling in wood, metal, plastics and
soft stone and for driving screws, turn the
drill symbol on the switch (8) to the arrow.
For drilling in masonry, turn the hammer
and drill symbol on the switch (8) to the
arrow.
Always wait until the motor has
come to a complete standstill
before changing the operating
mode.
CHANGING THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION
(FIG. 2)
Press the forward/reverse switch (3) to the left
to drill or to fasten screws.
Press the forward/reverse switch (3) to the
right to loosen screws.
Set the forward/reverse switch (3) to the
middle position to lock the machine.
Always wait until the motor has
come to a complete standstill
before changing the direction of
rotation.
