Operation

Always switch off the USB device to be connected before connecting it to a USB port. Make sure

the connection is correct. If the product is not connected properly, it could overheat or cause an

electric shock or fire.

Make sure, that your USB device is suitable for the connection values of the USB car charger.

Observe the information in chapter “Technical data”.
It is recommended to connect devices with high current consumption to the four-fold USB port,

because this is protected against overloading and is short circuit proof. Therefore only consumers

with low current consumption (below 1.5 A) should be connected to the dual-USB port (plug).

•  Connect a switched off consumer to a USB port (1, 5) of the charger. If required, the four-fold USB port (5)

can be fixed at a suitable place in the vehicle, e.g. to a storage compartment on the seat or door, with the

retaining clip (3).

•  Plug the car on-board power plug (2) into a car on-board power outlet in your vehicle. The LED indicator

lamp (3) lights up and indicates, that the product is ready for operation.

•  The connected consumer is charged. If you want to operate the connected consumer, you can switch it on.
•  Switch off the connected consumer (USB device), before you disconnect it from the USB port or before you

disconnect the charger from the car on-board power outlet.

•  Pull the car on-board power plug out of the car on-board power outlet after use.

You can operate the charger with the engine running or stationary. However you should not start

the engine when the charger is connected, as the car on-board power outlet is interrupted during

the start (this must not necessarily apply to all vehicle models). If the engine is switched off,

drawing current over a longer period of time will discharge the vehicle battery.
If you determine, that the charger does not function normally (e.g. no charging, overheating),

there may be a short circuit. Immediately pull the car on-board power plug out of the car on-board

power outlet. Check with another car charger, whether the problem persists. Only plug the car

on-board power plug of the charger power adapter back into the car on-board power outlet after

it is ensured, that there is no longer a short circuit present. Check, whether the product functions

normally again. If the product does not function normally, pull it out of the car on-board power

outlet and dispose of it. In this case the product is defective.

Cleaning and care

•  Each time before cleaning, disconnect the car on-board power plug from the car on-board power outlet and

any connected USB devices from the USB ports.

•  Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions

since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.

•

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.

Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At

the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory

guidelines.

You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
