c) Location of the temperature sensor
The sensor is suitable for measuring temperature between
-40°C to +99°C. It is water-proof and can be used to measure
temperatures of liquids.
It cannot, however, be used with aggressive,
chemical or reactive fluids. Besides, the sensor
can´t be placed directly into food-stuff.
d) Automatic and manual control
The manual and automatic modes can be toggled using the
„Man/Auto“ key.
• Automatic control
The „UT 100“ universal thermostat measures the current
temperature by means of its temperature sensor and controls
the connected load on the basis of the switch-on and
switch-off threshold setting.
Display shows „Auto“ and the respective function („Heizen“
= „Heating“ or „Kühlen“ = „Cooling“ depending upon the set
switch-on and switch-off thresholds).
• Manual control
The connected load is switched on or off using the „Ein“
(= „ON“) or „Aus“ (= „OFF“) keys respectively. The thermostat
control is disabled.
Display shows „Manuell“ (= „Manual“).
